Meet the Doctor

Dr. Schneider established her private practice in 2005 after developing an adolescent medicine program at Greenwich Hospital.  Prior to coming to Greenwich in 1999, Dr. Schneider ran the Eating Disorder Day Program and was Associate Chief of the Division of Adolescent Medicine at North Shore University Hospital.  Dr. Schneider is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, in which she has held leadership positions on the Committee on Nutrition and in the Section of Adolescent Health. Dr. Schneider is also a fellow and former board member of the Society for Adolescent Health and Medicine, and an active member of the Academy of Eating Disorders. Dr. Schneider is a consulting physician for Center for Discovery’s adolescent and young adult residential eating disorder programs. She has published research and book chapters in the fields of eating disorders and adolescent health. 

Dr. Schneider has 3 grown children and 1 delicious grandchild.
