What We Offer

What We Offer

Our fellowship-trained, board-certified adolescent medicine specialists have the experience and expertise to promote healthy behaviors and address the medical concerns of teens and young adults as they grow and develop both physically and emotionally.

Greenwich Adolescent and Young Adult Medicine

At greenwich adolescent & young adult medicine, we respect the increasing independence of “tweens,” teens, and young adults, while encouraging and supporting the appropriate involvement of families.  We recognize and appreciate the role that all aspects of life play in health and well-being, and it is our goal to address this comprehensively as we encourage our patients to live healthy and active lives.

  • We recommend an annual visit for a comprehensive health assessment, including appropriate immunizations and screening tests.
  • Some of our patients remain with their primary pediatrician for routine care, but see us to coordinate complicated healthcare needs.
  • Our office does NOT provide on-site rapid testing for acute infections (such as strep throat, influenza or COVID-19). Sick patients are usually seen by telehealth with in-person follow-up or testing arranged as needed.
  • We evaluate and treat the medical complications of eating disorders, collaborating with mental health providers and dieticians as a multidisciplinary team to help patients recover.
  • We manage complex and chronic illnesses recognizing the myriad impacts on daily living and collaborating with other specialists.
  • We assess for depression, anxiety, self-harm and substance use, and refer to appropriate mental health providers for ongoing management.
  • We provide reproductive health care for all genders, including counseling and management of contraceptives and screening and treatment of sexually-transmitted infections.
